I am thinking about getting a roof decal. My MINI is not garaged. One vendor I spoke with said that the sun would damage the decal and that I should also get a cover for the car...additional $$$ I can't spend right now. Does anyone have experience with the sun damaging the roof decal?

 

Never had a roof decal, but I have couple of friends that have roof decals, did not have problems. However, I think it depends on the materials and the quality I guess, do not go cheap.

 

I have a sunroof graphic...the car is garaged at night, but I drive and park during the day. This is the second year it's been on and I've had no fading nor peeling problems at all.
