I've ordered my cooper with cloth sport seats. Any idea of the relative weights of the cloth base seats vs. cloth sport seats?

 

I can’t answer this, but I am intrigued at the question. Do you mind saying why you’d like this information?

 

Mostly idle curiosity. I've already ordered my MC with the sport seats and really prefer them over the stock MC seats, so my order won't change, but I'm really concerned with keeping weight down for the best acceleration and handling possible. I'm hoping the weight difference isn't really high... Anyone out there have an answer?

 

If you are really worried abou weight, just take the back "seat backs" out and the passenger seat is very easy to remove as well
