I have the new phone buttons on the MFSW. Nice, but I'll never use them for a phone. Does anyone know what wires that actually go to or how they work internally? I'd love to use those buttons for custom applications.

I was told by the dealer that the phone buttons don't work - that they aren't "activated" in early '05 models. Are they even wired to anything?

 

www.newministuff.com has a wiring harness that ties into the MFSW buttons.

 

I'm looking for info on this as well... I heard that the wiring is in place but not connected to anything... I'd like to use the button for a intercooler water sprayer...

Also if anyone has any info into the wiring of the MFSW, could they pls post it up. Thank you.

On the website it is described for operating a garage door opener, but it is simply a relay that can be used to open and close any electrical circuit. I am using it to control on-demand viewing of my rear view camera.
