Ok, I figured out the way to route the wire.

The Mini directions say to run them up the left side when in fact there is not enough room. There already is a wire bundle that runs over the top of the radio and then down the right side of the radio and HVAC.

Anyone who is going to do this install just run the wire up the right side, not the left as depicted in the Mini directions.

Hope this helps future installs go a bit more smooth

NOW WHAT!! anyone had this problem??

I already have to replace my boost gauge. It is not smooth and gets hung-up.
Taking it for a test drive I also noticed......all of my switches are now not working and all lights behind the radio, HVAC, and switches do not come on.

Now this is the funny thing......the volt meter and lights in the new gauges work.

There is only one way to connect the wire harness and it has a little locking clip.

Has anyone else had this problem with the Mini kit?

Thanks for reading and providing any help.

Boost gaugs not working, maybe the hose is leaking or came disconnected?

As for the switches not working, maybe one of the pins got bent during installation? Or, maybe it wasn't fully connected before the latch was secured?

Did you kink the tubing? It's not very often where a SW gauge is defective.

Thanks for the replies! The boost gauge is for sure faulty, I double check the hose and connection. When the engine is shut off the gauge does not zero and once tapped it will zero out. With the boost gauge removed you can hear and have strong suction. But what I am more concerned about is why all my switches are not working. I checked fuses 39 & 40 along with disconnecting the battery. (from reading another post on switches not working after an install) Last night I did get the left window to move up but it was only for one second. Thanks for everyones help.Rick

Anyone found a great price on the auxillary gauge package (the one that adds gauges on either side of the tach.)? I like the matching gauge face but do wish they had an oil pressure instead of a voltmeter.
