Some nice person scraped the chrome right off the passenger side door handle of my new mini. Does anyone know of a place where i can get a replacement other than the dealer and is there some typr of protective covering available to prevent this from happening again?

 

that sucks drdave11. if you replace the handle, you'll have to take off the door card, hopefully not much more! I'm guessing the handle is plastic, and that's why the chrome scraped off? If so, it would've been nice if it was metal, so the chrome would be bonded, not plated. life goes on, good luck!

do any carbon fiber door handles exist?
im looking for a set of black door handles. if anyone could help with that...that would be great.
