Interior/Exterior Sun Roof Screen
Makes ya wonder why you got a sunroof, doesn't it
I'm in Tampa, and I thought I would need more screen or more tint...but not only don't I have a problem with the stock screen - I almost always drive with it open anyway!

I have the darkest tinting offerred, in combination with the screen it does a decent job... altho I just drove from houston, TX to Key West, FL and back and the sun can get a little warm... but the AC does a good job...
I'm always on the look out for something to replace the stock mesh. Its just not enough when parked.

We have a new mod for this that I'm testing right now. Should be out in a month or so ...right at the height of the summer

If you don't want to black out the sunroof, you could use a "Ceramic" tint. I think this is the original stuff. Sunguard, and others make their own too:

Ever see how the windows on new Benzes have the blue cast to them. They use this stuff. It blocks out as much heat as Limo black.
Dave.

i'm having this same problem too. i didn't realize how dark i've gotten until i went to NYC and stood next to some new yorkers..they knew i was from Cali! I don't want skin cancer . Is tinting the only solution?
At AMVIV this year I picked up a couple Zippee Shades. They are just thin, reflective pieces that utilize suction cups to stick to the glass. I don't care if I can't see out of the sunroof. I already notice a difference with less heat, but then again, it's not July and 115 yet so we'll see.
Cool product though. They fold right up and you can put them behind your seat for easy storage. You can check them out at zippeegear.com or go on eBay and just type in "Mini Cooper Zippee Shade" and see them there too.
