New Whalen Cue Ball shift ****

Installed my new Whalen Cue Ball shifter last night. What a beautiful piece of machinery and it's just what I've been looking for for years: a spherical **** but not metal which gets hot in Summer and cold in Winter. I had the six-speed pattern engraved, too. Fantastic looking. Thanks Doug!

Pics? Man, you just got me thinking. Need a "digital" version of the Magic 8-Ball for a shifter ****. Old reliable would be too large anyhow, like shifting with a Chevy's Margarita tumbler upended on your shifter link :-)

Just have it randomly throwing driving-related phrases at you, maybe touch-sensitive (heat, not vibration or it would NEVER quit). Alternately preaching caution and out-and-out willful abandon to the motorer.

Maybe something like this..

"Go for broke!"
"Cops up ahead, slow down"
"Cops up ahead, buy donuts"
"Cops up ahead, hit the NOS bottle!"
"Drive it like you stole it!"

"Wouldn't you rather be in third gear here?"
"I can't hear your supercharger anymore, stomp it and we'll make sure it's working.."

"Be kind to big, dumb animals"

Cheers,
Matthew Z.

Got some pics of that Lefty? Sounds interesting. I just got my #2 pool ball in the mail from Doug this morning.
