Any MINI parts department will be happy (hopefully) to look up the part number for you. This way you are assured of the correct part number. The chrome section is plastic and it only comes with the chrome finish.

It's available in the chrome only, I believe. The black plastic finish like the aero kit grilles can be ordered individually as well.

My dealer charged me $80 for the chrome slats and $40 labor on my blk/blk 05MCS. The lower single chrome slat was $25 and $50 to install because he says he needs to remove the bumper.

I think that if you want a black or colored grill, it comes in prime and needs to be painted. Some artistic types who want a black grill are vinyl taping their colored or chorome ones.

Anyone interested in my 1 month old oem black grill, pm me.

The vinyl will be much less likely to chip as that is a prome spot for rocks to hit it
