I would like to replace the stock horns with Hella Twin Supertone electric horns. Can someone who has done this tell me what is involved. The factory horns are well hidden. Do I have to remove the bumper? Can I use the existing wiring without using a relay?

Just did it. SUPER EASY! No need to remove the bumper. Just unplug the harness from both horns. Snip off the plug, and connect the wires. Really easy, no realy needed. PM me if you would like pics...

 

What are you getting with these horns that you're not getting with the factory horns?

I've got a set of air horns off of a 2 ton military truck that I'm trying to find somewhere to fit in the MINI. I can't wait to hear my little car blow a semi off the road!
