Aero Kit

Has anyone seen a cooper with just the front aero bumper? Any pics? I have to replace my front bumper cover, and am trying to figure out whether or not to get the aero bumper or the stock bumper. Thanks!

Yeah, but $1000+shipping even after the NAM discount is a bit steep. Plus painting. I just need to replace the front bumper

Are you looking at the whole Aero Kit $1200 or just the front apron which is under $360, and yeah this is out of last years accessory book.

Well, I don't have the rest of the aero kit. I don't think it would look good with just the front apron, would it?

I do not think it would look bad, you could try the S bumper.

I actually don't yet, but let me snap a couple pics when I get home tonight, and I'll post them.

Ok, I lied... I did have some pics... they're not very good, but you get the idea. This was before I took the yellow slat out of the bumper and put the correct one in...

Is it a direct fit?

Didn't do the rear bumper, but yeah, the S bumper is pretty much a direct fit. The only thing you have to do is move the fog lights (if you have them) to the other pre-defined location. It's really easy, just requires you drilling holes once you have the bumper off, but the holes are clearly marked where you need to drill. The reason is that the fog lights on the Cooper S are lower and out wider...
