Removing the MINI Badge

I am thinking about installing my own stripes and to make it look good, I think I will have to remove (and then replace) the MINI badge from the bonnet and boot of my 2005 MCS convertible. Does someone know the safest and most painless way to do this? I'm hoping there's just a button I push on the dash and then they pop off

If you are talking about anything other than the wings, they come off pretty easy with no marks left. Carefully lift one corner and it should pop right off. But the wings are a different story. They are drilled - so there will be holes left....

05' Cool Blue MCSC "Ariel"
05' HB/W MCS on it's way - no name yet

Of course, if you are replacing them, you just push the pins back into the same holes. Maybe some duct tape to make sure they don't come off again.

So, the "Cooper" badge that's just the lettering just pops off?

I used dental floss to saw through the adhesive and then picked off the sticky stuff with my fingrs.
