Autometer Boost gauge and Voltmeter gauge Help!!!
Hi,
I found other threads, but i want to make sure and not screw up.
I just got a autometer boost gauge and voltmeter gauge from a fellow NAM member. I have the boost gauge done and works good. But now i need you pros advice on the voltmeter gauge. What do i tap for that?? (pictures please)
And also, autometer gauges require seperate wiring for gauge lights. I would like them to light up when i turn on the cars lights (like the tach and speedo). Can someone help me with wiring for that too??? (pictures also please).
Thank you in advanced! Dummy-proof pictures and diagrams help me cause, visual learner

No need to bump your thread in under an hour, we'll get to it
Here is all the information you need gathered from this thread.
The ground is located right there under your steering column or the brown wire in that bundle. Good luck and have fun!

Where did you locate the gauges? I installed my boost and volt gauge by the cigarette lighter in the counsel just ahead of the cup holders. I just tapped the volt gauge wire into the cigarette power source and the volt and boost gauge light wire into the cigarette lighter light ring. The lighter power source is a 12 volt supply which you need for your volt gauge and so is the cigarette lighter light ring. The light ring has power to it only when you turn your lights on and that is what you want. Yo have to lift up the counsel slightly to tap into the lighter wires.
Steebo777---I just clicked on your link How To Motor In a MINI. Not Cool buddy. I could have had a kid in the room and I did have my wife with me. I thought it was a legit MINI link.
