FYI: Warning about pivot points on the restraint system.

This is just something I learned over the weekend. This might not apply to shorter drivers.. but for teh taller ones it will. The pivot point for that harness might be too low for taller drivers and might cause excessive injuries if you were in an accident like herneated discs and other spinal injuries. Harness should be mount to a point HIGHER THAN shoulder hieght when seated. The reason being that when you are in an accident you want the belt to pull directly back parallel to the floor of the car. If it is mounted to the floor a pivot point like the stock seat belt should be mounted higher so simulate the same effect. (NOTICE that the stock seat belts are actually mounted with a higher pivot point than the top the the chair back.) OTHERWISE the belt system will end up pulling down and in effect putting the pressure on you spine instead. ITS and VERY BIG DIFFERENCE in safety. if you are shorter then it won't matter as the top of the seat will act as the pivot point. PLEASE TAKE THIS IN ACCOUNT WHEN DOING THESE KIND OR MODS.
