I am the proud new owner of a BRG Sa, I am now looking to find some one to tint my window. Calif legal, to knock out UV and cool it down a bit. Anyone know of a good shop. Eagle Rock / Pasadena side of town.

Researching I've heard Huper Optik is the right stuff, any oponions???

 

I've had good luck with Sun Shield just under the 101 at Van Nuys Blvd. He's tinted both my Z06 and Avalanche for prices far cheaper than anyone else in town and his work is among the best. He's fast, too. But in Cali it is "illegal" (like that word means anything in this town) to put ANY tint on the front windows. That said I have 20% on the sides of all of my cars and 5% in the rear. The cooper S I have already had tint so I didn't have to get it done. I think it's 35% on the front sides and 5% in the rear sides and boot. Looks great and (knock on wood) I've had no problems with the cops. If I did get a fix-it ticket, I'd get it stripped, checked by the CHP, and I'd take it right back have them re-tinted.

They (it is really a one man shop, but...) did excellent work, and will tint whatever % you want.

Didn't have them do my MCS, as it entered my hands pre-tinted.

 

II got mine at Sun Shield too... 1 year and no probs...
