Does anyone carry a kayak on top their Mini.....if so, how?
I have the factory roof rack and I am looking at the "cradle" but it does not gog off and on quickly and I'm sure it will create a lot of noise and look bad (IMO) when there is nothing on it. I have a whitewater and 16ft. sea kayak. I will only carry one at a time.

Did you ever get any feedback on this? I am getting a kayak shortly. It would be a perfect day to get to drive the MINI on some back roads to the water, yak, and then drive the MINI back!
