Question: Have (will have) a BRG/BRG MCS and need input into some classic colors other than just white to match the BRG color? Seen any good combinations? Some links would be useful.

Thanks MCO users.

We can produce our bonnet stripes in a variety vinyl colors. If there is something really unique that you wanted then we could do the application on the 3M Scotchprint where the color/design scheme is unlimited.

Personally I think that doing a shadow stripe on the BRG would look good. If you were thinking of a roof graphic I might suggest going with a BRG & White checkered roof graphic and a white checkered boot/bonnet stripe.

Let us know how we can help - Matt w/ Cooper Flags

Badsmini,

Thanks. Note: The MCS has a sunroof; I'd say the roof graphic is out for now.

Therefore, could you post a pic of a shadowed bonnet stripe color-coordinated to your recommended base color for the BRG?

From the pics, I've noticed stripes at different angles and distances from centerline. Is there a classic angle/distance from hood centerline for mounting?

How woudl I get the stripes to mount straight without messing it up?

Thanks,
SMKKVK

Skip the Bonnet stripes and put a big white circle with black numbers inside on the bonnet and the doors, like a racecar, I think it'd look great on a BRG/BRG MCS. Gotta pick a number that suits you... though you could put a 6 with an underline on it to make it look like a "6" billiards ball.

No way! The racing circle is reminiscent of "Herbie the Love Bug". I want no association to a Disney character on my MINI. If I raced with the MINI, then it would be a different story. No plans to race.

Do appreciate the input, but have to say not. I’m forging ahead with bonnet stripes.

lol, do I sense some bitterness against Disney?

Don't feel bad, I hate Disney too.

Like Matt at cooperflags.com says.... Shadow Stripes would be nice, or silver stripes with black edges. from front bonnet over the roof then down the boot, maybe on the left side only, one thick one thin. Also, I really dig the gumballs, and they do not remind me of Herbie, they remind me more of a race.... try number 37... there is significance to that and a Mini, but not everyone needs to know that!

Good Luck and if you want a design, let me know I can do a quick mock design for you!

how about a big blower scoop. if that wont work you can put a louvered hood on it like the old austin healey 100's. i think just drive it for awhile and some cool item that you havent even seen yet will jump out at you. at some of the texas healey parties ive been to they slap at set of long horn cow horns on the bonnet. happy hunting brg mcs should be driving next week

Doug,

Great suggestion on the silver with black edges. Like the idea across the bonnet and boot, not sure of the roof given the sunroof.

I'm searching the net as you read this reply. Thanks.

Over the sunroof is no problem... I think it'll still look sweet.

I am starting to think that all Mini's look the same.... Let's Be Unique! Let's move two stripes to one side! Let's Put a Full Body Wrap on Our Mini's... Let's Place NON-MINI Designs on our Roofs! Lets let some of those designs fall off the edge onto our windows!

Where were' going we don't need Union Jacks!
