I can't believe the visors themselves would be any different. In the past, Europe made you be responsible for knowing what's dangerous or not. I'm sure that's changing, but hopefully they don't put warning labels on everything, yet.

Thanks, I would rather have perfect ones since it seems like there is not a 100% chance of complete and invisible removal of those really ugly stickers.

Maybe we could just put a less objectionable sticker over it or to cover less than ideal results. Any suggestions?

heres one!

Be sure, if you go this route, that you specify that you don't want the RHD (right-hand drive) sunvisors!

less objectionable?

I know you are trying to be...ummmm...funny but, I find your suggestive sticker far worse and yes, objectionable and misogynistic, than the OEM decal.

The Denatured alcohol is so easy. Don't bother with all those steps. I did mine in 10 minutes. Take two paper towels, fold in four, soak with denatured alcohol and then hold against the sticker for 30 seconds, the alcohol evaporates quickly so put some more on the folded towels and hold on the sticker for at least another 30-60 seconds. Then gently move the towel across the sticker and it will just roll off. If it does not just hold the soaked towel a little longer and it will. Don't force the sticker or it will end up in tiny little bits like above complained about. It is very easy, just have a lil patience. There have a been a million threads and it has been determined this is the best way. Oh and there is a little sign of it being there if you get it in just the right light at an angle. GOOD LUCK.

I just grabbed a shop rag and some acetone, visors still in the car, and scrubbed for a few minutes. Wham Bam, Thank You England! Came right off.

Not to mention that it has a misplaced comma, which would distract & bother me to no end!

I did the sticker removal on my 05 anthracite visors this past weekend using denatured alcohol. I actually tried Goof-off first, but found it was evaporating too fast to really soak the visors, although maybe I wasn't doing something right. Anyway, the longer you let the alcohol-saturated paper towel soak the visor, the less residue you'll have when you're done. You're not just trying to dissolve the adhesive - you're trying to dissolve the sticker itself. It should bubble up and have the consistency of a baby wipe when you peel it off, and it should come off in one piece if you peel gently and use something like a wood chisel to help it separate from the visor. I let mine soak for 40-45 minutes and resaturated the paper towel several times. I also put a little weight on top to keep the paper towel against the visor. Obviously the visors need to come off the car to do this. Don't worry too much about taping things off or hurting the material... it seems to be pretty durable stuff. Once I had the sticker off, I used a toothbrush to help remove some of the remaining residue, first using more alcohol and then soapy water. Got a tiny bit of improvement with this method, but not much. Overall, I'm pleased with the results. There is a subtle rectangle of residue that outlines where the sticker used to be, but you wouldn't really notice unless you were looking closedly.
