Interior/Exterior Rattle from speaker covers
Rattle from speaker covers
The rear speaker covers are buzzing. i believe they are loose but do not know how to tightin them or insulate them to solve this problem any ideas for a solution would be great.
what stereo do you have?
I have an HK and mine did the same thing, and I know this will go against "pimp" ways but turn the base down and not only you'll get better sound quality they won't do that anymore!

Mine does the same thing, but on the front passenger side. A friend of ours, Adam, took the panels off of his doors and lined around the speakers with felt. The felt has a sticky side and he just cut it into pieces. It seemed to help!

same here
About 6 months ago i had the same problem with the passenger side. Took it to the dealer and the put some felt underneath the door panel and it stopped the ratling. I can NOT turn the base down cause you know I like to "PIMP".
i agree with the bass you cant turn it down but it dosent even seem as thought they are rattleing against the speaker it is just the grate over the speaker because if i just touch it with a finger the buzzing stops i think that the covers themselves are loose.
Same here.
On my '05 Cabrio the back passenger speaker does this. The dealership told me it was "part of having a convertible". I disagree, if it is caused by the convertible, why just the one speaker?
They are re-checking it next week when I get it serviced and also have them fix the motion sensor on my alarm system. Let me know if you guys hear any other good tips...otherwise I will let you know what they say this time.

Due to my HK rattle, altho it did not fix the problem entirely until I felted the door panel, my dealer's fix was to "tighten" the speaker grille. I can see the plastic rivets were melted. So if you're sure the grill is buzzing, take off the panel and use a soldering iron or something to melt the plastic rivets holding the grill on.
