I bought a pair of these concept GP taillights. Everything works except the brake lights. I got a brake light error code that came up when I tried them. The only thing I had changed on bimmercode previously is that I did the DRL function on my PRE-LCI taillights.

 

I've coded everything to LED including brake lights. Still doesn't work. A large vendor that sells these basically said "code to LED we don't have any other information".

A youtuber told me to try to switch pins 1 and 6 on the connector. Going to try that next.

 

I just realized why my GP brake lights aren't working! If the rear fogs are enabled as brake lights, it will make aftermarket tail lights bug out. I fixed it! BimmerCode Expert Mode 3065 in Body Domain Controller - MAPPING_BREMSL_2_L_OUTPUT/MAPPING_BREMSL_2_R_OUTPUT must be set to "bfd_L"

 

These are so good. Worth every penny. They offer the largest silhouette out of any tail light for F55/56 which makes the car look even better proportioned in the back. Photo honestly doesn't do it justice. They have that BMW/Mercedes Red/Pinkish hue.
