Has anyone gone inside their car and removed the antenna module that is located in the roof (back where the plastic vent clip hides access)?

I broke the antenna off inside the base module and need to replace (see sad story below):

Okay, I am idiot...went thru car wash (it's winter here so car washes will automatically close the exit/entrance doors)... I didn't remove the antenna, so while exiting the door came down and broke the antenna off...

Just went in for 10K service and had them replace antenna. While doing some mods in my garage I added the Sharkin Fin antenna cover for the cool look, except I mounted it backwards, and you guessed it, opend the hatch and crack...broke the antenna again!

So not wanting to pay to have MINI to put it in again (there is an ego issue here as well as a $$$ issue), has hanyone done this installation and can send pictures on how to? I got half way and was a little confused on how to get that unit out...
