Cooper Flags Thumbs Up

I just want give Cooper Flags a big thumbs up. My wife and I bought our side stripes from them before Christmas and just had Ed Bowers (the owner) install them yesterday. The whole experience from ordering to installation was flawless. Here's a couple of pics

Very nice!!! Great to hear Cooper Flags is getting raves again. Did you remove the MINI badges fore and aft for the install? I really like the detail where the stipes continue between the cowl vents and the windshield.

Nice looking car!

However, I'm not so sure about Cooper Flags... I doubt that I'd ever do business with them. A while ago I sent them two or three e-mails asking about the availability of one of their perforated white sunroof covers for my MCS. When I finally got a response back, they said that they could indeed get me one and that they would write me back by the end of the day with a price. Well, it's been nearly three months now and I've still never heard anything back from them. Too bad as they lost my business for good.

I'm glad that you got a response out of them though. I'm just not used to having to beg in order to buy someone's product. If that's what it takes, I'll pass on the purchase for sure.

Yeah, a thumbs up from me too. Ed has been great to work with. All of my requests and purchases have been a little off the beaten path and he's never blinked an eye. He's sent samples and been very patient. IMHO, that's a lot considering the purchases aren't big dollar items.
Sorry to hear someone had a bad experience. I do know they (Cooper Flags) get backed up sometimes. I'd encourage you to give it another try. Don't be too hasty to form a bad opinion on a first encounter here.
I'll post pics of what I've bought from him as soon as I take some.

Mark.

Seriously I emailed them 3 or so times for just one response saying they would get back to me. 3 or so more emails and I have yet still have not heard anything from them
I am giving up and doing business with some one else. In fact hearing that some one actually got something upsets me even more, because it means they were just ignoring me and had not gone out of business like I thought.

There was a change in ownership, that might have caused your problems. Why not give them a call, their products are really good.
And NO, I don't work for them.

Hmmmm

Well I already have something on order from some one else, so to late, maybe if they are still around the next time I want to do something I will reconsider them.

Btw, if any of you are planning on going to AMVIV II, Cooper Flags donated some gift certificates for our raffle!! So you got another chance to get some more goodies from them just by eating dinner!
