Question regarding running lights replacement

I bought a running light replacement kit. Is this something that can be done at home or do I need to bring it to the shop?
Does the vehicle need to be raised above ground or can I do it in my garage?

Thanks in advance.

Those look like the 3rd generation lights, but there was a kit available for the 2nd generation models. I installed them on my car, but it is not a trivial installation. I would get a quote from your local shop.

Installation instructions for the 2nd gen kit are here:
