I have a black roof, but I wan't a white roof, instead of painting it (katshing, and bad resale value) why not make a big white roofdecal? anyone done this?
What do you think?

How 'bout 1/2 black and 1/2 white? Get a checkered roof!

 

I don't really know, I was thinking, white roof, white/cf mirrors and white bonnetstripes?

I wanna do the bonnetstripes but i dont think they will look all that good on a black/black car

 

you could definitely do that. You can even get your whole car wrapped if you really wanted to .Just ask any of the vendors that do roof vinyls

What would you do about the spoiler (if you have one?)

Any competent sign shop should be able to make that number decal out of vinyl. I had mine put on magnetic sheets for easy removal.

 

I wouldn't paint it either. Do some searching... I think you can find Silver checkers and stripes. I know what you mean about the white–it might be too much contrast for some. I have BRG with checker roof (black) and black bonnet stripes. I love how it looks with the green, but I think silver would look great on your car.

But it wasn't the contrast I was talking about, I mean all black and then two white stripes on the bonnet, they look a little lonely, with the roof and mirrors at least there is something else white too.

Dont let the spoiler get in the way. Just think...it will still be A TON cheaper if you bought a used/new white spoiler then if you were to paint the entire roof. I just wanted to point it out before you embarked. They can definitely make that rally number too....just ask any sign company
