I think if the lights are complete with wiring & bulbs, not just reflectors, then you just need to change the switch. The $$$ealer can then code the fog light option.

I had an 07 R56 without the rear fogs and really did not like the black 'plugs' in the rear fascia, where the fogs would go. The fog light assemblies were not very $$ and were inserted in place of the plugs in about 5 minutes ....

So I had the nice look in the back, but did not ACTUALLY have the rear fogs ... and of course, no switch for them ......

To add FUNCTIONALITY would require changing out the entire toggle switch bank BECAUSE those are NOT simple switches but rather 'momentary switches' that just send a signal to the body control module which actually controls the rear fogs which is why AFTER you replace the switch bank you still need a reprogramming to activate them and the ability to do that varies by year (according to folks on this site)

Lee - I would check that the bulbs & wiring are actually there - they could be just reflectors.
If they are, all you need is the switch & the programming.

Thanks. Wires and bulbs accounted for. Getting the switch not the problem. Finding a dealer that will.
