Retrofit St seats

I have a R53 my seats are torn and uncomfortable.
The main reason I need different seats I have 2 herniated disc also degenerative disc disease. I have a appointment with a orthopedic on Monday to determine if I need surgery.
I work at a junkyard and got these for free , I would spend 280.00 for seat bases and would get the St emblem removed professionally.i already took measurements and sorted how to wire them .I would lose the seat airbags (same thing if I bought aftermarket seats)
my questions , you can be honest ! Keep in mind that because of my back issues I don't have the money to buy recaros, sparcos or any seats that I like and I rather install these instead of cheap eBay seats.
Without the emblem do you think they will look cheesey?
i don't track or race so weight is not a concern
Plus I'm deleting the rear seats
Thanks

If you have insurance and can get your doctor to recommend it you can get your insurance to pay for a better seat and install.

Those Focus ST Recaro's are great seats! had many long trips in them. If you can figure out how to install, that would be an excellent choice!

It's taken me a long time to install because of health issues , they sit 1 inch higher I'm 6 feet and still have lots of headroom . Since they were free +. My seats were messed up I'm ok on how it came out . The drivers is powered and also heated which I wired up .
Thanks

The only difference between this and aftermarket seats are that you need to figure the wiring on driver's seat which
Is easy (2 wires)
Seats , seat brackets, airbag resistors , the R53 seatbelt can be mounted onto Ford seat and it doesn't rub on anything .
The hard part is finding the seats at a low cost if not just buy some aftermarkets.
