TomTom Go GPS

I've been looking for a GPS that has a good size screen, good mounting, and good looks for the Mini. I recently came across the TomTom Go system, and it seems perfectly packaged for the Mini. Has anyone out there installed this beast? Do you like it?

Thanks

I use the TomTom Navigator for Palm w/bluetooth and love it.

We also have a couple of Magellan Roadmate 700s in the family and I like the TomTom software better. I would guess that the Go software is the same and as the one for the Palm and wouldn't hesitate getting it if we needed another unit.

Check out the Garmin Quest as well. I am a huge Garmin fan and just ordered a Quest to use on MINI runs when I am designing them. I'll post some feedback here when it arrives.

I have a TOM TOM GO and really like it. It is small, works very well, gives good directions and is cheaper than similar models from Garmin. It recently got PC Magazine Editor's choice in the current edition in a comparison with other handheld GPS's. You should buy that magazine.

Greetings,

I use the TomTom Go, it is great. I got it to use with my Chevy Avalanche because I got the Navigation with my MCS, and I love it. What is great is that I can move it from car to car or when I travel I just used it in a rental in Seattle and I live in CA.

Load just the maps of the area you will be in or get a bigger SD card and load the whole country.

Very slick unit.
