Hey everyone, I am looking to make some aesthetic changes to the interior of my mini and I am thinking of wrapping some of the trim pieces on the dash and around the doors. I always hated the look of my stock trim so I want to change it.
Has anyone done this or made changes to their interior trim? Pictures, ideas and advice are welcome. I don't want to spend a lot of money and the DIY would be fun so please let me know what changes you've made to make the inside a bit more fun.
I’ve thought about it too. You can get the 3M vinyl, a hairdryer and give it a shot. The only challenge I can think of is trimming and tucking the edges.
What color were you thinking? What is your stock trim?
I wrapped a bunch of the piano black interior bits on my R60 Countryman, which has a very similar interior to the R56. It's not too challenging, just takes a lot of patience. I used 3M carbon fiber vinyl and it turned out really well.
