Are these lights too far off the beaten path?

Pardon me for not the including dimensions - 4.7 inch diameter and 3 inches from the front of the lens to the back of the housing.

What are you trying to accomplish, fog or better night time vision?

For me the only practical justification for installing lights like this is if I plan to drive off the beaten path. Good that we are different.

They look like LED so I guess they have that going for them... I wonder how hard it would be to make driving lights quick release - as in, if you are not on a road trip where you have the potential to drive at night down unfamiliar and empty roads, you can just unclip them instead of unbolting them... I guess the unbolting isn't all that hard either. By the way... anyone know the difference between the TSW and the Vibra-Technics upper motor mount? They look like they are nearly the same thing but with a fairly large-ish price difference?
