H7 LED Bulb clearance issues
Hey there folks. Hope that Monday grind is treating you well!
I went a different route with lighting and decided to go with an LED conversion kit off Amazon -- pretty well-rated and seems to be legit.
I received it a couple weeks ago and tried to install, but I seem to be having some clearance issues -- seems like the "bulb" itself hitting the reflector, not allowing me to secure the bulb in place. I have 2002 halogen housings.
Has anyone encountered the same issue or can someone with the know-how shed some light on this? Picture of bulb attached.

I personally don't see the point. Despite the touted efficiency your Mini won't notice any. The chances of what is noticeable to others is it aftermarket LED conversion. Potential issues are many, such as lack of uniform dispersion, dimly lit light when its supposed to be off...

I just purchased second set for Toyota Highlander - an eBay Special....work phenomenal and were only 15 dollars !! What I found was that with the H7 and H4's they can be installed incorrectly with respect as to where the LED's are situated. If a H/L beam H4 the bulbs should be installed so LED are horizontal or in other words, so the LED boards are to the left and right. If not done this way, odd shaped light patterns result.
I would do the same with the H7's used in most MINI lights. Just keep rotating the bulb around 45* at a time until optimum results are achieved. The H7's have a notch so may not have to do this on a MINI.
