what are all these wires going into the "non dimming" plain old mirror for?

I picked up an anti dazzle mirror but the connector is very different, not only that but I cant get the connector off of my plain old mirror it's snapped in under the housing

no homelink, I think it might be for the keyfob remote?!?

 

That's right... the remote receiver is in the mirror. I forgot about that.

 

it's not in mine anymore lol now it's taped into the headliner all that's left is power up the mirror
