I picked up my new 4-door hardtop with Black Mini Yours Lounge seats. One of the foldable headrest had a broken button. The one you push to fold it down. The dealer and Mini of USA are taking their time with the replacement.... over 2 months now. I've been looking for that button everywhere online with no luck. Does anyone know where to purchase one. Any help is greatly appreciated.

 

Mine has failed also but I haven't been back to the Dealer yet for replacement.

 

Usually they just replace the whole headrest - I don't think the button comes by itself. It's not a hard to find part either, so I'm guessing the hold up is on the dealer end. Once the part is in it takes less than 10 seconds to swap the headrests - old one pops out, new one pops in - covered under warranty.

EDIT: Just noticed you have the MINI Yours seats - that may explain the delay. Perhaps the headrests for those are less readily available.

EDIT EDIT: I believe the MINI Yours rear headrests are the same as the Cross Punch black leather seats in which case, the part number for those is 52207369593. The button does indeed NOT come separate
