Any recommendations on quality led light bars ? I heard a lot of positive reviews on this provider , but I am looking forward to more advices. Thanks.
There is a typo in their logo. I don't like to deal with people who don't care enough to double check their typing.
I really like Rigid Industries. They have some amazing stuff (particularly for you Brodozers. Grills for the F Series / FJ Cruisers / Jeeps / etc with LED holes already in them and stuff like that) and awesome lights. I have a pair of Dually D2s in hyperspot and they are the most amazing LEDs I have ever seen, let alone used. Lots of light far down the road like I wanted!
I also like The Retrofit Source. They have started doing their own line of LED bars. Never tried them but I imagine they would be quite nice based on the quality of their other stuff.
I agree with James. Rigid is the industry standard for LED lights. However, they are VERY expensive. I like them but I'm not paying that price. Basically just look look for anything that uses CREE LED's. That is the actual LED Chip and the heart and soul of light bars.
The Retrofit Source is great and like James, while I haven't used their light bars I have no doubt they will be great. I have used TRS for my headlights on my truck and they are grey people and great products.
I am going to be cutting up my bumper support.. tomorrow?
I marked out the support with a white wax pen.. but you can't really see it on the camera so I did a shitty paint job!
I am planning to leave the tabs in for the front bumper to sit on. I am going to drill holes wherever I need to cut and use a jigsaw with a metal cutting blade to cut it.
Sorry it has been taking so long, girlfriend wants attention, work wants attention, my tools at work want attention... yawn...
Looking forward to seeing where you go with this. I think I am going to have to copy it!
James
yeah no. I am going to have make custom brackets and cut way more of the support, and all of this this lightbar might not even be bright enough. I need to buy like a 800 dollar Rigid..
