Window Stickers

My daughter found some static cling window film for her inkjet printer in a drawer at home, and wanted to make me some stickers for the new car when it arrives. So far we have come up with:

WARNING: CARS IN YOUR WINDSHIELD MAY APPEAR SMALLER THAN NORMAL
ACTUAL SIZE!
BLOODY AMERICAN DRIVERS!
GOOD WORK, OLD CHAP!
CONCENTRATE NOW - DRIVE ON THE RIGHT
OH BOLLOCKS!
PATRICK AND SALLY DESERVE EACH OTHER!
ANGLOPHILE INDULGENCEMOBILE

Any suggestions to add?

Try this on on top of your sunroof:

"If you can read this, you're still driving an SUV"

If you are a little bolder, modify it to "stupid gas guzzling SUV"

Another good one might be:

"You've just been SMOKED by a CLOWN CAR!" (credit to holdenontoit)

or:

"Undercompensating"

FYI, That's "Bollocks", not "Ballocks".

"A small road looks like a big road to a Mini."

"A small road looks like a big road to a Mini."
P. Hopkirk

I saw him say that on a really good auto racing history program, "The Power & The Glory" that I have on tape.

Somewhere ... I know I've got it around here ... give me a second ...

Anyways, always loved that quote.

What are YOU compensating for?

Parking gods smile on the mini.

Hey up there have you seen the road lately?

Warning: may cause envy.

I am interested in being able to print my own stickers, but here is my concern. Isn't static cling stuff CLEAR? Meaning that what is normally white on a piece of paper, it is transparent. As you all know, printers do not have white inks. Since you are putting it on glass, which tends to look dark, any color letters will kind of look dim.

Stickers

I deal a lot with stickers and things. For instance, I have self-adhesive white plastic film, ala bumper stickers, but the adhesive is on the back. I have clear static cling film, which you print on the back and stick to the window from the inside. Ultimate solution - print the clear film, and stick a piece of the white film on the back! Bingo, static cling with white background. A little compicated, but it works.

The ideal static cling decal should be one where you don't see a white, rectangular background. Lets say you want it to say, "Party Hardy", you would want the letters to be white and the background clear. Otherwise it looks like any old bumper sticker. This would be the case if you want to put it on the glass. Anyway, I don't party hardy anymore, more like couch potato...
