well gang, opted to put strobes in my MC. I already worked out the routing for cables etc,(except for the wire to the interior switch, is there a hole in the firewall?) but here's my jam. I am going to install strobes in the headlights and tail lights (firefighters and EMTs can use em in NJ) and can't figure out exactly where to install them in the headlight shell. I need to drill a 1" hole in insert the strobe bulb. I was looking at the headlights and saw there seems to be an empty model on the outer side of each headlight assembly but looking from behind there is some sort of wiring harness there. Any ideas for the headlights and or tail lights? I appreciate the help, keep motoring!

I think I remember seeing (in a law enforcement supply catalog) some kind of module that you plug in-line in the lighting wiring that makes your stock headlights & taillights strobe...

the relays you saw use the stock bulbs to flash, these are additional xenon bulbs....just kind of confused as to where to mount them because it looks like the mounting area is so small....

The Mini Cooper head lights come in a sealed box to prevent moist from entering the unit, drilling a hole to fit the strobe light will make some amount of moist to enter the unit damaging the xenon bulbs, after some period of time they will not work and you will have to invest $300 dollars for the bulbs or near to 800 for the entire unit.
I suggest that you don’t install the strobes.
Motor ON.
