bottom grill mods

I did the top grill and has some material leftover and decide to do it to the bottom grill as well. trying to keep it oem look, so I got a few things from Home Depot and made it look more like a scoop, haven't had a chance to add it to the car yet, but it looks pretty good. The top one was a pain, I should of made a template to start with, so the fitment is a little off, probably will make another top one.

That looks good! I wonder if you could black out the stuff behind it, can the radiator be painted?

Thanks. And that's a good ideas. But I'm gonna wait until I upgrade intercooler and decide on whether to paint anything or hide anything. By then I will remove the whole bumper and it will be easy to do so then. Will update some pics once I install it next week or so.

Basiclally I went to the dealer and got a new bottom grill, and cut out the middle section, just in case if it didn't turn out as good, I can then put the original back on. and once you cut out of the middle section, and then i add the rubber siding around the cut out section, then carefully bend the shape on the grill to wrap around on the inside, so you can't see any imperfection. then glue everything together and let it set for a few days. when I install it, the rubber did came off on one part, but it was very easy super glue back on. and so far, it stay pretty good. I think after I did the top part really help to thought it out for the bottom one. Will probably work on another top one later down the line, but just so lazy to do it again soon, because it's about 2 days job to complete haha.. oh and also zip tie help to help it cure.
