would like to see this on a r53 as well.

is the grille removable? i wouldn't spend $100 on a scoop that I would have to cut the inside out of it brand new from the box.

also curious if there are and numbers or anything performance wise, or if it is mainly just for looks. it appears to be raised up higher than the stock scoop, but it also appears to have a smaller opening for air to actually come in, especially with the grille in there.

being that i have a 17% and 2% pulley combo, it is critical that as much air as possible is hitting that top mount i/c.

maybe somebody with access and knowledge of fiberglass could design something? id really like to see a big aggressive scoop similar to the wrx style on subaraus, except... mini.

i could make my own, i just dont have the time, the scoop looks bigger on the r56, but im not sure if it has the same porportions with the r53, and i dont like the grill they have with it, that would defiently be cutout from the box =)

If you get one, I'll be happy to take the grill off your hands. I like the way it matches the stock grill. Not entirely sure it would fit my M7 though.

Wow, with that grill in there....it looks like it's cutting off a bunch of the air flow!!

I'm definitely ordering one if these, I like it better than the m7 and at least it's a little cheaper.

I don't know why anyone would run that with the grill still in it......I thought the point of the scoop was to provide as much air as possible to the IC....not choke the air flow off with a grill....

I messaged outmoroting.com a while back about this scoop. And if I remember correctly they told me the grille is completely removable.
