Well, that explain all, I bought the kit for the prefacelift :(
Any way, I'll probably make a small piece to attach the it to the impact bar hole and make another hole in this metal piece to attach the license plate.

Thanks, still have to do some things: retrofit black xenon housing (currently using those cheap depot headlights) and remove the handle and fuel cap chrome .

That should have worked for you without a hitch! I presumed you had no rear fogs.....

The only possible thing that could have happened is if you got a broken (opened) kit and someone mixed parts to make up the kit.
