how to remove r98 bolts?

I have the OEM r98 rims and know they are two piece so I want to remove the bolts that hold the face on. I also want to know if its safe to remove the face with the tires mounted and filled with air. Thanks!

You need an M8 Spline. I got mine from O'Reilly Auto Parts, so they're pretty easy to come by. I would assume they're safe to remove without depressurising, but for safety sake, I wouldn't.

You can remove the face without dismounting or deflating the tire. When you reassemble them, use blue loctite and 26 ft/lbs on the bolts.
