Show off your Seats!

I just got my Corbeau seats installed with harnesses and I’m pretty proud of it so i though I would show them off. I haven’t seen many other people out there with aftermarket seats so I was just wondering what everyone else had in their cars and share their experiences with anyone that had questions about them.

Nice setup! These Corbeaus are nicely priced compared to Sparco and Recaro.

Did you get around the Airbag warning light? If so, how?

Thanks! Yes the Corbeau's are much better on the price and are FIA approved and the harnesses to so i couldnt go wrong.

Unfortunately i have the airbag light on i tried to find someone that could do the NCSExpert programming in my area but couldn’t find anyone I believe that is the only way around it. My dealer said if I put the stock seats back in they would re-set the light for a small fee so I'm ok with that unless I can find someone that could re-program it for me in the Chicago area.

Try this: http://www.motoring alliance.com/forums/interior/1051-how-installing-aftermarket-seats-r56-motoring-alliance-exclusive.html#axzz2QlVaga2x

Take out the space above before pasting it into your browser.

You may be able to install the stock pressure sensor onto your Corbeaus similar to how people with the Sparcos are doing.

FIA certified too? The Forza sports? Nice!

I looked into doing that but it looked like a lot of work and not really worth it to me since it is just a light i just have to deal with it i don’t really drive the car much anyway im only 10min from work if i even take the Mini and then will trailer when i track it for the most part.

Ya i was really happy to see the new forza sports are FIA certified but the regular forza ones are not still way cheaper than any other approved seats i have seen by far and the logo kind of looks like the M series logo from BMW

Yea, it does look quite involved. I could live without the pressure sensor as long as there was a simple way to disable the light.

Love the price on these seats. I was looking at the Sparcos but at this price with FIA cert the Corbeaus are a great deal.

Thanks! I had the quick fit harness before and i like it a lot, i actually had a chance to get out on the track yesterday and once i figured out the perfect fit of the harnesses they were great! didn't move at all, the seats kinda stink for long drives because its a fixed back it was just under 2 hours to the track and my back was a little soar when i get there thank god im getting a trailer next weekend lol but just taking the car to work or around town the seats don't bother me at all
