I always want some extra grip on the steering wheel, an JCW alcantara/suede steering wheel would be ideal but I really don't want to spend few hundred bucks on a steering wheel. I tried pep boys steering wheel cover and it give me what I want but it looks kinda not what I like.

There is one day I comes up an idea, why don't custom made a steering wheel cover? A friend of mine who is a tailor has came to visit me from Japan, so I guess it is the perfect timing to owe someone a flavor :p

She took the measurement of my steering wheel last month while she is here. Yesterday, a mail come in with this




I started to put it on ytd late night



I will have to stitch it together, long way to go :(



Gonna paint the trim piece too

I will try finish it today and see how is it... I really hope it works well
