Seats for the track

So I was awarded a partial sponsorship from Corbeau for seats and harnesses but you need to run 2 seats and 2 harnesses in the car in order to get there discount. I was planning on just running the driver’s seat. Anyone had any experience with aftermarket seats in the r56? I do not want to get into the electrical system and take apart the seat to install the weight sensor and I don’t want the airbag light to go off. It seems like a lot of work that I don’t really want to get into. I have seen some people just put a resistor In if that works then I'm fine, but it looks like the passenger seat is going to be the issue.

My recommendation is to get NCS Expert setup and code out the seat sensor and tensioners (unless they are on the new seats) out of the airbag module.

Doing this will cause the rest of the system to work fine and you won't have the constant warning messages.

No, I don't any would touch it for liability reasons.

It will be something you will have to do yourself or find someone in your area to help you out. If you go to electrical modification section and look at the sticky NCS for beginners to get an idea how involved it is.
