How do I remove splattered house paint from MINI?

A month ago, I didn't realize that I was driving behind a car on the highway that had passed over some spilled house paint. So now my front ends has hundreds of tiny white dots all over it. Unfortunately, since the weather has gotten colder, the paint has hardened. What is the best way to remove this paint? I am happy to take it to a professional. I just would like to know how much it would cost to remove this without repainting the bumper and hood. Or if I have to go in that direction...

Thanks!

This is exactly what "paint detailing clay" was made for - removing bonded contaminants without harming the paint. There are several brands out there, but the Meguiar's kit that Pep Boys and similar stores carry works great.

You simply wash and dry the car, then spray the included lubricant over a small portion of the paint and rub the clay gently over the paint. The clay will shear off the bonded house paint and leave the car's paint smooth and clean. Finish up with your favorite wax or sealant.

Get yourself a claybar and some quick detail spray from a paint supply store, follow the instructions on the claybar, using the detail spray as a lubricant, it will take that right off for you, then give it a good coat of wax and your good to go. Should be fairly easy to take care of
You should keep a claybar in your box of detail goodies anyway, removes any contaminants from your paint before waxing. Here is some info them, good luck!

Your other option is to have Home Depot color match it, pick up a gallon and blend..

Try some WD-40 and a soft cloth.

I recently was the sad recipent of some white over spray house paint (on AB paint) all over my Mini. And I do mean ALL over.

The clay bar was the best trick for me. Took me almost 9 hours but I got her done.

Follow up with a good wax to protect!

If you don't feel confident I would simply suggest to take it to a good detailer and he'll not only remove the garbage but protect your paint again. It will be critical to seal that paint back.
