Started with my sun roof graphic, here are before and after shots

Then I made even more changes to the engine bay, I am not done yet, but it is getting close. here are the before, middle and after shots. Originally I went red for contrast, then it started to bother me, so I sold my red stuff and got blue stuff, just installed today, I will be getting blue caps for the engine over time, but outside of that, I think I am done. May paint something else, but I think I am happy with the few changes. No Rice comments please, just wanted to share what is making me smile

the paint I used was krylon high temp paint, silver for BBQ's, good up to 1400 degrees, and then used plasticoat clear engine paint which is good up to 500 degrees. Before I clear coated the parts, i put blue pinstriping down on the raised parts of the intake cover and the battery cover, then clear coated over that. I put on about 5 coats of clear to make it pretty smooth for easy cleaning.

too funny, I just rolled it up the other day, spend an entire 12 hours in the garage working on the allroad, doing sway bars, new intake, throttle body and diverter valves for the twin turbos...I was too tired to clean up that darn hose. hehehe

nice dress-ups
I like the new color. It is good to have a blue car. I have a DS/W and silver is hard to go with some nice engine colors.
I painted my intercooler Cover and fuse box cover. here is the pics

I like it. Nicely done!

On a IB, I perfer the blue accent over the red as well. However, I didn't have much choice because I have the Alta intake that comes only in RED, which dictates the color scheme of the engine bay.
