Hey guys, either of you complete the installation of the start button? I've got mine installed in the location that formerly housed the cigarette lighter, and wires running to the dash. I've got the trim off the lower half of the steering column but need to know which wires I tap into on the ignition. Schematics I've found on other posts detail the wiring of the relay but not which wires to hook to.

No, I haven't installed one yet. I was a little dissapointed with the starter button positioned where the cig lighter was. It's a little hard to reach. I think I will eventually install a momentary start switch in the MINI center pod switch panel. Kinda like a jet aircraft start switch with the red security cover.

 

Any idea of which two wires to tap into?
