Hmm that's strange, I used duplicolor caliper paint and clear if I remember correctly. Engine paint might be overkill.

Right, but I mixed duplicolor and rust-oleum engine paint. Duplicolor sells engine paint too. I assumed because they are all rated for 500 degrees and all have ceramic, they should all play well together.

Beleive it or not, I am getting all positive feedback about the effect it created. Even under my build thread on MT The Real Hobo Express.

At first I hated it, because it was not intentional and I worked so hard for it to be smooth. It's starting to grow on me.

What's the consensus around here, do it over or keep the effect??
