I've been web researching the SPA gauge with the dual readout, boost / oil pressure in my case. Here are some SPA background info:

* SPA is a UK company that has been building racing data acquisition systems and gauges since 1989. Today, their line of dual readout digital gauges are the best in the industry. For us, the most important feature of these gauges is the programmable warning light that can also be mounted remotely. Most engine damage occurs in the turns when you don't have the chance to look at your gauges - a warning light will tell you something is wrong before you do permanent damage. This line also includes invaluable gauges to the racer, such as transmission/diff temp, brake bias, and a programmable fuel level gauge.
Other common features on this line of lightweight, compact instruments from SPA Technique include:

State of the art surface mount microprocessor technology
Selectable backlight color (red or green)
Adjustable backlight brightness
Black or white dials
Standard Black or Chrome option bezels
High resolution modes for 0.1 PSI, Deg C etc
Programmable button function, recall menu etc
Splash proof sensor connections
Extended temperature operation (for extreme climates) -20 to +70 C
Programmable warning lights, low battery, averaging etc
Programmable outputs for driving external LED's or relays
Complete with comprehensive manual, sensors and wiring harness

* PDF file on installation and opertion: http://www.spa-design.co.uk/DG50%20m...vision%203.doc

* The kit cost w/o gauge pod/bracket is very reasonable, for example $289 from bimmerworld.com

Does anybody have experience with the SPA dual readout gauges and/or actually installed one in our MINI? If so, what's your thoughts?

Like always, seeking those you know in NAM.

Thanks,
SMKKVK
