Plastidip Interior?

Has anyone Plastidipped the interior? I really like the Red Rooster CoulourLine interior. Parts for the dash are $250. I know that Plastidip comes in red (I don't know what color red) and I'm wondering if I can do the Colourline parts. I bet it would work on the hard plastic dash parts, but I don't know how it would work on the door pads.

Thoughts?

Larry

Check out dipyourcar.com's YouTube videos. That's where I bought mine for my wheels, and he has a bunch of awesome videos, some showing him 'dipping his interior trim pieces (not a Mini, but that's not important).

I did yesterday on my down tubes, cup holder and shifter rings. I have a feeling it won't last long. It's bound to get scratched.. I even scratched a bit of it installing the downturns afterward. Also the finish is not very good on the down tubes; I think it was because I did it outside and it was only 7 degrees Celsius.

I dipped some interior bits (chrome rings, etc.) and it looked absolutely awful. Plasti-dip looks cheap, period.

Vinyl wrap would be a better way to go.

I think plastidip is best left to exterior use lookswise. I painted my headlight/tail light rings a year ago and they look great to this day. The matte black goes perfect with the plastic fenders. I think it'd be tough to getting to look very good on the interior though.
