Interior/Exterior Prettier engine bay :)

The paint was X Metals by Krylon, extremely hard to find. I had to drive 5 towns over to buy a can.
I sanded the sway bar with 1200 grit, and washed it then just painted that, then the intercooler cover -- i had to buy a plastic-to-chrome paint. make it look like metal for a base, a few coats of that, it looked like chrome, then just a few coats of X metals, and it came out surprisingly awesome.

Looks Great everything blends well!
If I could give a helpful hint. I notice what looks like vacum line on the left side of the bay near the hydro mount. Unless I'm mistaken it's probably the line that came with what ever guage it runs to. while it's suffiecent it stands out a bit ( even though I notice you took the time to clip them into factory mounts +1 bouns point :-) )
if you go to any auto store you can pick up factory style vacum line. It's more durable more flexible, and black. And for the finishing touch, if you look at the three lines near the evap purge solenoid youll notice that you can remove the top hard line and the line stays in the same location. then you can take the soft line and run it into that bracket. then you can run the line into the cowling from the small clip in the partition.

Thanks for the awesome tip but I didn't install this! Haha, it came with it when I bought it. So I actually thought about changing it for that "blend" but I'm selling the car when it hits 75k, let someone else enjoy it as much as I do. And let the new enthusiast know what each line does, instead of having him guess. Not everyone is mechanically inclined and me and my bf do a lot of the "mods"
However! I'm stuck between coupe s or z4 idrive30 haha. Ahhhhhh
But I'm doing things to it until I sell it. :D
