I just got done helping a friend do this to his *cough* honda civic, and it looks fantastic. We used Bulldog to prime the piece, then put 3 coats of high-temp flat black paint, then put one layer of laquer to shine it up. The result is impressive. I was looking at the headlights of a HID xenon MCS and I think it would look
great. Has anybody done this before? Does the headlight come apart easily?

Run a search on this "headlight painting". It has been discussed in depth. The regular lights are supposed to come apart easily, but the xenons are harder. It has been thought that you can't do it with the xenons because you will break the vapor seal. I think it can be done, and will be trying it this summer.
