I'm wondering if anyone has tried converting the four gnomes peeing on the windshield into more of a, shall I say, wide-spread pattern of delivering fluid to the windshield. It drives me absolutely bonkers that when my window is dirty, I have to whip the gnomes for a solid minute before sufficient fluids are deposed on the windshield to wipe it properly. My only real hope is driving at high speed and hoping for some solid crosswind.

Just wondering if anyone makes aftermarket nozzles or something... looked on the internets but couldn't find anything.

 

Darn. I was just hoping the other day that the nozzles were better on the newer cars. Sounds like they still suck.

I was really hoping I can stick a small grille or something in it to disperse gnome fluid better, but I guess I'm out of luck, eh.

I'm so used to the concept of "if it does not work well, I'm sure there is an aftermarket mod" that I am still hopeful to find an aftermarket mod.

Sigh.

 

I know in the VAG world we'd just swap out the newer sprayers for the old fan-spray type. Do older MINIs used a fan spray pattern? If so they might be a straight swap. I also hate these sprayers.
